Diane and Dylan

The following story is from Diane Mulcahy, a long-time PAWS volunteer who had a remarkable experience at one of our With Love Love and Gratitude mediumship events:

I was helping as a PAWS volunteer at a mediumship event and did not plan to participate, but at the last minute was offered a seat in the gallery because someone was unable to attend. So, I decided to accept the opportunity.

At the time, my cat Dylan had cancer of the nasal passage and was very sick. As the session progressed, the medium told the audience that she was getting a message from a cat that was still alive. This was the first time this had ever happened to her.

She asked if anyone had a sick cat and six or seven hands went up.

She then asked whose cat was twelve. I put my hand down because my cat was thirteen.

She  came over to me and asked why I put my hand down. I explained my cat was thirteen. She told me to put my hand back up.

She then asked whose cat was female, and again I put my hand down as Dylan was a male.

She came over to me again and asked about how I identify my cat because the cat she was sensing was coming across as a female. I explained that Dylan was a very mellow cat and I always referred to him as she. Again, I put my hand back up.

The next question was about food and a possible stomach ailment. Hand down again and more inquiry.

I explained that he had a respiratory ailment, not a stomach problem. She asked about food because she was sensing that the cat was eating a lot of gravy. I was feeding Dylan food with as much gravy as I could find because he was only licking the gravy off of his food. Just that day I had switched to broth as it was easier for him to get down.

At this point the medium began to tell me Dylan's life story:

She said that he was an only cat and very attached to me, he was worried about how I would manage when it was time for him to leave. She said he was a spirit cat who would always be with me.

Dylan passed a short time after that, but his spirit is with me forever.
