F. Moore Delights In Her New Home

F. Moore not only has a new home, she has a new name (thank goodness). She is now Maddie. Her new owner reports that Maddie has settled in quite nicely.

"She has been a complete pleasure and it's hard to believe that she has only been with me for only 8 days now! When I first brought her home she of course was nervous and immediately found my bed where she stayed under for a couple of hours but then came out several times during the day and even slept with me on my bed! She was under by bed when I came home from work last Monday. On Tuesday when I got home I called her name she ran out to greet me and hasn't been back under my bed since. When I do come home from work she follows me around until I sit and cuddle with her and she purrs like crazy. She has really become the Queen of my condo! My friends that have met her can't believe that she has only been with me for a week because we are so good together."

April 2009: Frisky's Life Has Sunshine Once Again

Frisky came to PAWS depressed and sad at the passing of his loving owner. He was only with us a few short weeks before he got adopted! A nice note from his new family lets us know that Frisky has found the embrace of a loving, caring family who has nurtured him and his broken heart....

"Wow, I can't believe it has only been two and a half weeks since we adopted Frisky! Somehow, it seems like he has been here much longer. He has definitely settled in as part of the family. He has the sun room that he is very comfortable in. Whenever he is in that room, he will come out to play and to be loved. Frisky has bonded the most with Anna. She has spent a lot of time out in Frisky's room brushing him and loving him. It is sweet to watch the two of them. We haven't heard Frisky say anything yet. I don't think he knows how to meow. He did growl at me when I clipped his nails (who can blame him), but never any other noise. If he wants our attention, he will tap on your leg. It is very cute! He has been getting plenty of exercise playing ball and string. He actually can be frisky sometimes!
