My former father describes me as an "affectionate hermit" -- I loved sitting with him, sleeping on his chest, playing with balls and other toys and just being a mushy lap cat. 

I also was a great friend with my other two feline family members, even though one of them would bully me sometimes.  Most of the time, we had fun playing together and snuggling.

My hermit status comes from the fact that I will run and hide some loud noises and new people.  But, give me time to adjust and I will be back in your lap, looking for chin rubs and petting.
