Hi, I’m’ Louie Trombone and I have a tale to tell. I was left outdoors long enough that I had to play the blues to get through the day.  The cold winds of late autumn were picking up and I wasn’t sure where I’d find my next meal.  Finally a kindly young lady started to feed me so I started dropping in a lot. She saw how friendly I was and when she brought me in I just wanted to chill with her.  Sadly, she had another cat and a tiny space so she took me to a local vet for shots and check-up and called PAWS for help. I was very thin and not looking my most dapper and my swagger was almost at a standstill.

However after several months of R&R and TLC I was getting my mojo back. My medium long black coat filled back in and I love having it brushed and you can stop and admire my white start on my chest.  Mellow is my middle name and I’m done strutting my stuff. I leave that for all those mini hep-cats that everyone is asking for right now.  I can’t think of anything I’d like to do better than hang out with you on your lap while you groove on your favorite jazz.

My meow sounds like a gave up a 3 pack a day habit but in  general I’m fairly quiet and mostly sound off only if I can’t be with you. I’m all purrs and cuddles when I can snuggle with you. So read your favorite book, do the daily crossword around me. It’s all cool with me. Your mama may have warned you to never run off with a saxophone player but I hope you will consider Louie Trombone.
