My name is Talbert, although I will respond to any sweet talk. I am only 2 and a rather handsome tiger cat, if I do say so myself. I sit at this computer everyday helping my human friend get her work done and keeping her lap warm. Tough job but someone has to do it.

Being the laid-back fellow that I am, I don't mind her other cats. They do look at me strangely - guess they haven't seen such a handsome man before! I try to say hello and then go on about my business. She has this strange animal, I think she calls it a dog. I have little use for this yippy thing. I usually just ignore it and hope it goes away.

I do have the best purr of anyone around and use it often, because the girls love it. I have found that playing it cool is the way to go.

I do love my humans best and I love their attention. I was owned once but they didn't want me anymore and threw me out in the parking at the shelter - right next to a highway! The shelter folks were kind and took me in, fed me and made sure I'm safely vaccinated. I did test positive for carrying a virus called FIV, but I feel great and they tell me I may never get sick. I can't transmit it to any other cats unless I bite them really, really hard - and that is just not my thing! So I would be fine in a house with another cat.

I also wouldn't mind being an only cat, snoozing while my humans work and hanging out with them soaking up attention once they are home.
