PawSox is a lively, playful little girl who loves both cats and people. In March she came to live in a wonderful foster home where she plays constantly with her foster family and purrs up a storm. She was a stray rescued by a RI woman who took her to the vet and learned she is positive for the virus that can later cause leukemia. She is FeLV+, as it is often written, but she is healthy and happy right now and may be for many years. So this woman posted to a statewide email network for rescue organizations, hoping to find her a home with another "plus" cat. This virus is hard to spread unless cats exchange saliva, by sharing bowls for example, but for Pawsox to have constant cat company, her friend would also need to be positive. She is a cat-adoring "plus" cat and is so lonely without a cat friend to share her window seat and her sunny spot on the couch.  But she would also be perfectly happy to have a human all of her own!

So Pawsox could come to live as a friend for your newly diagnosed "plus" cat. Or if you have no other cats, PawSox would be fine as your one true love! She will jump right into her new family life without any hiding, and will reward every bit of attention with her happy purr and her eagerness to play.
