Niffler's foster mom got much more than a meal when she went to a restaurant in November. In the parking lot, on a very busy street, she found a stray cat down to skin and bones, all matted. She scooped him up, and was home before she noticed a clue that he'd once had an owner - he was declawed. He spent the next few days eating, sleeping and keeping warm. Then Niffler began to take over the house. When he is not harassing or being harassed by the other cats, he is a very affectionate cat with people. The couple caring for him fell in love with him almost instantly and would love to keep him. But he needs to be an only cat - or definitely the boss cat! He loves to have his tummy rubbed and sits on the top of the couch watching TV with his foster mom. He snuggles when held, but he most enjoys sitting or sleeping beside his loved people. He does hide from toddlers who visit. He can be very playful and especially likes milk rings.
