Necco is a sweet, quiet boy who must have been someone's pet when he was a kitten. But he was out in the snow when his foster mom spotted him, and searched for an owner - no one was ever found. He had very painful mats under his beautiful fluffy gray and white fur, just the color of a Necco wafer. So he got shaved and now he looks like a lion! He also needed to go through neutering and having a broken tooth pulled - so coming indoors has not been a bundle of laughs for Necco. But he is learning to love again, arching up into petting, rolling his head into scratching under his chin, and trying to remember that flying up into the air to be held or cuddled does end up feeling very nice! If you fall in love with Necco, it would be best if you could learn about why cats newly indoors feel safest having a big cage or a small room to start out in. At least until spring, he'll need that added security as he learns not to run and hide, but to trust that people will love and care for him.
