Handsome usually inspires laughter at first sight - he is a big guy with a comical face. And he is not at all offended by your stares - he will come right over to sit beside you, just like a devoted dog. He curls up right at his foster mom's feet the minute she sits down - he'll inspire you to relax too! He was living under a porch when PAWS heard of his need to again have a family - his first owner had died and he was just left outside! Because he hadn't been neutered, he got into fights and so he carries FIV, a virus that cats transmit only to each other if there's a deep bite, but he seems to have no ill effects. And he'd never bite anyone now, with all his hormones gone - he'd just lick and nuzzle them! Handsome has best guy cat buddies he loves to hang out with, devotedly cleaning their ears like a momma cat - Buckman, Golden Gaze, and Flood. Little girl cats seem to love him - Heart cuddles right up next to him. He only needs help with weight loss - he gained once he came inside and couldn't resist finally having access to plenty of good food. A family with kids who would toss his food pellets to get him running would be fabulous - and Handsome can really get up some speed when the hope of more food is involved! He also is harnessed-trained so walks in the neighborhood would help him - and he'd be a hit with all the dog lovers who don't realize cats can be so "dog-like"!
