Beyonce is a petite black cat with a tiny white "locket" on her chest. She looks like an Egyptian cat goddess with her spiky ears and panther build. But she dashes from room to room with her friends just like any kitten! She came indoors with her 5 babies, miraculously saved with a team effort. She was seen bolting out of a basement window by an elderly woman fearful of cats, so she boarded up the window - and the next day the woman found a tiny kitten out on the basement floor! Desperate calls got a team to find all the kittens, bring in the best bottle feeder, and set traps while searching door to door for signs of Beyonce, who must have been frantic to get to her kittens. No owner was found - we never found anyone even feeding tiny Beyonce. When she finally went into a trap 2 days later, at first everyone assumed she must be a feral cat, but once she was no longer needing to protect her kittens, Beyonce could practice what she'd seen all the friendly cats do, swarming up onto the bed to be cuddled and held. Soon she began to make tiny meows to her foster mom! She began to arch out her neck for that lovely chin scratching her foster mom offered. An advantage to Beyonce's outdoor life is that she is used to peacefully coexisting and romping with other cats. The boys in her foster home, especially Black Gold, love to come over to be near this beautiful girl!
