My name is Figue and at 2-yr-old, I still have a lot of kitten in me. I looooove toys and won’t hesitate to play with other’s stuff. It’s good to share, no? So you’ll see me nap in the old dog’s bed, sometimes WITH him, in other cats’ favorite spots, and in my favorite one, the family sofa. I like to climb into the master bed while the resident cat is looking elsewhere, otherwise she’ll chase me.  In the morning I’ll wait for you by the door, ready to greet you and enjoy another day filled with games and naps and loving.

I’ve lived around many other animals so I’ve seen it all. I’m comfortable around dogs and cats and enjoy being where the action is. I don’t bother the birds and even the resident cat, after weeks of swatting and hissing at me, is becoming my friend.  I’ve learned to play by myself but I’d love to play with you or have a playful friend, or several. I thing I can adapt to pretty much any situation.

I tend to act more like a dog than a cat and I enjoy being with you, so I’ll probably follow you around the house to see what you’re doing and if maybe you’d like my company, or need help with something. I also enjoy being with other animals so you’ll find me napping close to them, cuddling if they allow it.

I can absolutely never refuse an offer to play and will come from the other side of the house if I hear sounds I like. The sound of treat bag or a can being popped open will also get me running with enthusiasm. At mealtime I sit in the kitchen beside my canine buddy and wait for my meal. Sometimes we even sit and wait BEFORE mealtime. I often try to steal dog food if he’s being fed first. I share my temptation treats with him so it’s only fair!
