Although my name’s Icelandic for Bear, I’m a very friendly feline who loves petting and keeping my foster parents company, whether they’re cleaning out the basement or in the kitchen making a meal.    I make them laugh when I flop on the floor. The other cats in this house find me interesting but don’t bother me, maybe because of my size and color – I look intimidating, but I’m really easygoing.     I’m a lot for a lap, but I will sit next to you or at your feet when I’m not resting in my cat climber.    My green eyes will keep constant contact with yours as we walk side by side.    My luxurious black coat has a sprinkling of white hairs throughout and there’s the smallest patch of white on my chest. At 11 years old, I’m not a kitten but not a senior citizen either!     I like to explore – window sills, the top of the fridge and stove – I know no boundaries, so you may have to teach me some. My owner had to give me up (sad story); I hope to be YOUR best buddy for a long time!
