Tahiri was surrendered to PAWS when her family could no longer care for her.  She was underweight and undernourished. With good food and lots of attention, she is thriving in her foster home.  While she still needs to put on weight, she is eating well and loves her treats! Even when she achieves her best weight, she will still be a small cat.

In her foster home, Tahiri lives with three other cats.  Though peace reigns among the cats, she will do best as an only pet. She startles easily so a quiet, calm home will make her happiest. She is not a lap cat but when her foster puts her on her lap for petting, Tahiri purrs and purrs.  She especially loves her neck scratched!

As she has become healthier and more active, she spends more time out of her room and with her foster.  She’s not very playful but does like a good romp with a laser light!

With time and patience, Tahiri may learn to play more and maybe even be a lap cat. And, yes, she is cross-eyed!
