My name is Han (Solo) and like my namesake I’m easy going and friendly. I love to play and run around. I love watching the birds out the windows (Hmmm….how much would Jabba the Hutt pay me if I could catch one of them?) I love my food and toys. And I’m learning to love sitting on my foster’s lap especially when she keeps petting me and scratching my ears.

However, unlike my namesake, I’m not a real confident guy.  I’m shy around new people, but with some quiet encouragement and lots of petting, I can be your new best friend. I’ll even follow you around and roll over on my side so you can pet more of me!

I’m a bit of a “scruffy nerf herder” right now since my long, beautiful fur was very matted when I was found in the woods.  So the vet had to shave me down. But it will grow back and I will once again be that handsome rogue who captured the heart of a rebel princess.

I live in a foster home with lots of other cats and I’m good with that.  Occasionally, I wrestle with one of them and will sometimes chase one of the shyer cats (that’s the “scoundrel” in me!) But I’m pretty laid back. So I can live with other cats or I can also be your one and only cat if you are home a lot to give me the attention I deserve!
