My name is Kalten and I am 99% wonderful and 1% frustrating. I'm 14 pounds of energetic play with an edge of aggressive tendencies. I've been working with my foster mom to play hard to burn off my energy and redirect my strong hunting tendency to pounce first and ask questions later. I have come so far in a very short time. I love having the run of the house and feel having lots of space has really helped me relax.  Most of the time I am very mellow and easy going. I will crawl in my mom's lap or even up on her chest and snuggle for a long time (I may even snore a bit). I have rich dense soft fur so I love being petted. Sometimes I will surprise her by suddenly seeing a hand movement as something threatening. I find myself on the floor in a time out and we try again later. I also like playing by myself and will hunt for the chirpy light up bird in my bucket of toys or bat balls around. If I hear you coming, I'll race for my play cave and wait for you to dangle toys so I can dash out and pounce. If you just happen to be walking by I may dash out for your ankles and quickly bat them in play.  Recently I've had new foster buddies,  I'm the obnoxious boyfriend with one and the other older female is very assertive with me so I just leave her alone! I think I'd do best as  a solo with an experience cat owner (no kids) who has  calm home with lots of regular routine. I like meeting new people and often go to the PAWS office where I can cruise in my  harness and leash. I need to find someone who enjoy my quirkiness and spirit and forgive me for my transgressions.
