CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS

We are currently looking for FOSTER HOMES for cats.  The demand for helping stray cats and kittens and owner surrenders has been overwhelming this summer. See below for more information about fostering.

In addition, we need individuals to help us with our committees, events and projects, including the following:
  • Responding to calls and emails
  • Staffing our new storefront office in Wakefield
  • Helping the Lost & Found team put up Lost/Found posters
  • Maintaining online databases
  • Planning events
  • Running booths at local festivals and other venues
  • Updating our website
  • Working at adoption hours on Saturdays at our office
If you are interested in volunteering, please complete our online Volunteer Application.

If you would like to become a PAWS foster home, please see the Fostering section (below).

Fostering

PAWS depends on foster volunteers to care for our animals in need.  We receive daily requests for help for local cats, kittens, and sometimes dogs and other small animals.  The more foster homes we have, the more animals we can help.

Please consider becoming a foster parent. PAWS pays for all veterinary care.  The foster parent is responsible for providing food, shelter and lots of love, of course.   PAWS can also help out with food and litter from our donations supply.

If you can open your heart and your home, please contact us for more information.  We will be happy to discuss the foster arrangement in greater detail.

To get started, please complete our Foster Volunteer Application and also review, sign and return our Foster Care Agreement.
