Adopting a PAWS Pet

All of the animals on our website are looking for a home to call their own. Perhaps yours?  Please take time to browse their bios and pictures.  On these pages you will find animals with an assortment of looks, personalities and life experiences, all of them just waiting to meet you.  

If you don't find the purrfect pet today, please bookmark our website.  Come back and visit again.  There are always new animals being added.      

IMPORTANT:  If you are looking for a kitten, please call us at 781.246.611.  Kittens tend to get adopted quickly and will often be spoken for long before they are ready to be put on the website.  So, please call and let us know what you are looking for.

Once you have found that pet who pulls at your heart or just catches your eye, please fill out the PAWS adoption form.  Even if you are not sure which cat is the right one for you, you can still fill out an application.  We love to matchmake!

 Adoption applications are available at each adoption day.  However we do recommend filling out the application prior to the event to save time. 

Once completed, email it back to us at pawswakefield@yahoo.com or fax it to 877.866.1406.   We check our email often, but please allow us at least 24 hours to get back to you.

The adoption process is simple:  After we receive your application, we share it with all the PAWS foster homes with a potential match.  Then, one or more of the PAWS fosters will contact you with more information about their foster pets and to arrange a time for you to meet them, either at the foster home or at one of our adoption locations.

It is always in your best interest, and the animal's, to try to get a great match.  After all, this is a long-term relationship meant to be full of love and fun.

Again, it's simple, we want you to be happy and we want the animal to be happy.

PAWS at PetSmart

PAWS now has an adoption center at the PetSmart store in Danvers, MA, where you can go to visit some of our cats during regular store hours.  In addition, you can meet with our Adoption Counselors to discuss adoption options daily, by appointment, or during hours listed below.

Thursday & Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
