Peony, a long-haired black cat with green eyes, and Pansy, a long-haired calico with green eyes, and their pregnant mother Petunia were abandoned at the Best Friends Pet Resort in Wakefield a month ago. The girls are about 8 months old, spayed, in good health and have had all their shots. Both cats are very shy, although Pansy has become friendly towards her foster family and is becoming more playful every day. Peony is still afraid of people, but she is slowly getting used to living with her foster family and allows people to pat her gently. Pansy loves to be patted and brushed. Both cats enjoy the company of the other cats in their foster home. They will require a home with understanding people who have the patience to work with them (especially Peony) until they become accustomed to their new surroundings. Ideally, they will be able to stay together in their new home.
