PAWS (Protection of Animals in Wakefield Society) is an all-volunteer, non-profit animal welfare organization, founded in Wakefield in 1982 by Esther Nowell. ShelterCare Insurance Helps you, your pets and PAWS, too
You can alleviate financial stress associated with your pet's unexpected medical bills (these things do happen) and help our rescue all at the same time simply by clicking the ShelterCare banner below. Here's how it works:
ShelterCare Insurance Programs cover you when your pet needs essential veterinary care for an illness or injury. Every time a completed application for a Sheltercare program is generated through our website, we will automatically receive a $25 donation towards our animal care expenses. This donation is of no cost to you and provides us with necessary funds. Provide, prepare and protect your family member and ours as well.

SAY IT ALL WITH THIS ANIMAL FRIENDLY LICENSE PLATE
Show your community you care about pets with the Massachusetts "I'm Animal Friendly" license plate by the Massachusetts Animal Coalition . The cost is $40, $28 of which will be used to help fund the statewide spay/neuter program, the remaining $12 is a one-time cost for the manufacturer of this very attractive license plate.
Initial Registration Fee:$50
Special Plate Fee:$40
Renewal Fee: $90 every 2 years

The more plates sold, the more we have the ability to help our animal friends. Afterall, friends don't let friends litter. Show your support, show your animal pride, and help curb animal overpopulation all with one purchase. The 2011 plates are now available. Don't forget your specialty plate is tax deductible!
